Tough Times for Senator-elect Buruji Kashamu... Set To Answer Drug Related Charges

This aren't good times for Ogun State Senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu. It was reported by Channels TV  that officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) stormed the Lekki residence of the politician this morning.

Kashamu is set to be dragged to the United States where he will answer drug related cases charged against him.

Remember Kashamu has been pointing accusing fingers at former President Obasanjo saying he has been the one behind his predicament. He also dragged the inspector-general of police and 11 others before a Federal High court sitting in Lagos, where he asked that his fundamental human rights be enforced and that he be given freedom of movement. .

Small Scale Businesses You Can Invest in

When it comes to small scale business in Nigeria, there are lots of business opportunities. You are wondering that is a whole lot of big business. No! Like I said in the last edition, people are too busy with the hustle and bustle of everyday activities and the competition that comes with the workforce that they wouldn’t mind paying to get some domestic errands off their neck.
Yes! This thus provides another platform through which you can earn an income.

Think big. Plan Big! Work Big! - Akara Ogheneworo

Our Icon this week is Akara Ogheneworo, a top Nigerian wedding photographer. I had the opportunity to see him at work and no doubt he is passionate about his job. In this interview with Toyin Komolafe, he talks about entrepreneurship and how young people can follow their passion.

Can you tell us about yourself?

Akara Ogheneworo is a young man with an intelligently creative mind. I am interested in areas that stimulate the mind and emotions. I am a Wedding Photographer. I like to see myself as a musician as well as I can play the piano and I am learning how to play the saxophone. I have a little knowledge on how to play the  guitar, the drums and the bass and while I might not be a guru, I can stand in.

My background is in the sciences with a B.sc in Microbiology, but knowing that I wanted to be in business I got a Master's Degree in Business Administration.

I had a stint in banking, oil and gas and technology where I believed I learnt how to build an organization and brand it, marketing and human resource management.

I am interested in the beauty of love and nature and those are the two main things I try to capture in my photography.
