Gombe State governor and People’s Democratic Party chieftain, Dankwambo has expressed worries about the attention given to the ongoing Big Brother Naija show.
Gombe state governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has taken to his Twitter account to condemn viral on-going TV reality show, Big Brother Naija.
According to him, it distracts Nigerian youths from national development.
“Praying for Big Brother Nigeria to come to an end so our young people begin to focus on important things like rescuing their country. I know some politicians will want Big Brother to be a daily thing all year round so our youths can remain distracted. Go and get your #PVC.”
A Nigerian youth, Chidi Okereke was swift to mock the public office holder in his response by claiming the youths are unbothered about political issues and their hands will be tied all year round following football and other entertainment programmes.
See the funny reply the user, @Chydee gave him:
“After #BBNaija ends, UCL finals is next. Then Worldcup in June/July. Then Summer grooves. Then Christmas/New Year activities. You see, we are fully booked. Mind your business Uncle.
As if Big Brother is the reason Nigeria is like this. Nonsense.
